Dear Parents, 

     My name is Jessica Ambrose and I get the privilege of spending the 2019-2020 school year with your child!  I’m thrilled to be here and know we will have a great time together learning and preparing for the sixth grade. I am an Abington resident whose three daughters are also in the school district. My oldest is going into tenth grade, I have a seventh grader, and a fifth grader. We love it here and love our community!

     I hope your child is ready for a fun year of learning and that they feel comfortable in my classroom.

A Short Bio

My name is Jessica Ambrose and I grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I've lived in Pennsylvania since 2000 when I married my husband, who grew up in Upper Moreland Twp.. I've lived in Abington since 2007 and have three daughters in the Abington School District.
     I have been working with children for 20+ years. I love children and making a difference in their lives. I think it is important to not only impart knowledge but teach children how special they are and do my part to contribute to helping them have a positive self-image. If a child grows up believing in themselves, they can accomplish anything! In my spare time I love to read, craft, make new recipes, go camping, to the beach, or to the mountains. Being the mom of three girls, I have the unique perspective of BOTH an educator and a parent. I think this is something that can benefit us greatly. When I think about the children, I look at them from both angles, what I want them to learn and how I, as a parent, would want them to be treated. Our children are the most precious keys to our future and this is something I understand and feel honored to be a part of.
